Dr. Antonio Blesa Malpica has focused his professional career on the management of the polytraumatized patient, a discipline he practices at the San Carlos Clinical University Hospital as head of the Neurotraumatized Section in the Intensive Care Medicine Department.

His acclaimed experience in the field has led him to publish numerous scientific articles related to mechanical ventilation or nutrition in critical patients, making him a reference in the country. In addition, he combines his medical practice with teaching as a Early Critical Care Services instructor at the American Society of Critical Care.
