General Objectives

• Identify all clinical signs associated with respiratory disease
• Integrate an appropriate methodology for the emergency care of a neonate
• Apply the available complementary methods to diagnose the main ocular alterations in Major Species

Specific Objectives

• Collection the information necessary in the clinical examination of the cardiac patient
• Carry out a complete physical examination of upper and lower airways
• Locate the injuries in a patient who has suffered a Central Nervous System trauma
• Analyze the mechanisms of endotoxemia and systemic inflammatory response syndrome
• Correctly diagnose the different renal problems and issue a prognosis for these animals
• Explore the diseases of neonates and the particularities of those that also occur in adult horses
• Accurately recognize the clinical signs of ocular pain
• Master the diagnostic procedures used in endocrinology and their interpretation
• Implement an appropriate fluid therapy plan based on the imbalances presented by the patient
• Implement differential diagnosis of the clinical signs of the main infectious and contagious pathologies in large animals
