Dr. José Luis Zunzunegui was the first specialist to implant a Percutaneous Pulmonary Valve in Spain. In the area of Pediatric Cardiology, he has experience as Head of the Pediatric Hemodynamics Unit at the Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón, at the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu and at the Emergency Department of the Hospital Virgen de la Salud. 

With a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Complutense University of Madrid, Dr. Zunzunegui is also President of the Pediatric Pulmonary Hypertension Working Group. He is also a Member of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Cardiology and Congenital Heart Disease.
