Experience

Dr. Francisco Soldado Carrera has more than 15 years of experience in malformations of the upper extremity, tetraplegia, hand malformations and microsurgery, which have allowed him to be leader of the medical teams of prestigious health centers in Spain such as the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu in Barcelona, one of the leading medical centers in Europe for children and adolescents.  

He is an internationally recognized specialist, expert in the Brachial Plexus and Malformations, as well as other pathologies. He has at least 12 major projects to his credit thanks to his continuous training in various countries such as the United States, Taiwan, Egypt, or Finland and his multiple humanitarian missions with the participation of surgical interventions in Guatemala, Benin, Morocco and Vietnam. 

In addition to his healthcare work, he has worked as a university lecturer and researcher and his achievements include more than 120 indexed international articles related to clinical practice, research and teaching, as well as obtaining multiple FIS grants. In addition, he is a member of the research group Bioengineering, Cell Therapy and Surgery in Congenital Malformations (VHIR).
