Experience

Dr. Andrés Labiano Fontcuberta has developed his entire career in the field of Neurology, specifically in relation to the diagnosis and treatment of Multiple Sclerosis and its comorbidities, so it is a professional widely versed in this subject. In fact, he based his thesis Cognition and emotion: its impact on multiple sclerosis on this subject of study, serving as a guide for many other physicians in the knowledge of this disease.  

He has an extensive academic curriculum in tune with his work experience, highlighting his PhD in Biomedical Sciences and his postgraduate work in advanced neuroimaging techniques and their applications. In addition, he is the main author of several research articles, collaborator in book chapters and participant in research projects.

  • PhD in Biomedical Science from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM).
  • Postgraduate studies in Advanced Neuroimaging Techniques and their Applications at the UMA.
  • Research Fellowship from the Spanish Research Institute Carlos III (Instituto de Investigación Español Carlos III). 
  • Clinical Research Fellow in Multiple Sclerosis at the Carlos III Institute.
