Experience

Dr. Héctor Guadalajara Labajo is an eminence in the area of General and Digestive Surgery, especially in the colorectal field. He has been one of the driving forces behind cell therapy and the digital transformation process in the operating room, applying his advances to the extraordinary management of anal fistulas, as well as to the genetic study of metastatic dissemination pathways.

In addition, both sectors are the focus of his research lines, an activity to which he has dedicated a good part of his career, successfully publishing his thesis ("Relationship between the clinical evolution of colorectal cancer and the presence of KRAS gene mutations in the tumor and in plasma"), in addition to more than a dozen scientific articles indexed in international scientific journals. All this balanced with teaching in university medical programs.
