Experience

Rafael Angulo Vedriel is a Civil Engineer with more than 13 years of experience as a Project Engineer. He has been Project Manager and Design Manager in Spain as well as in Latin America, Middle East and Southeast Asia. During his career he has specialized in Maritime Projects and Project Management. 

He is Project Manager of the Maritime Works Unit of Acciona Ingeniería in Madrid and has worked in the Port Authority of Valencia in R+D+i projects in the port sector, and in the Design Management and Hydraulic Works departments of Acciona Ingeniería, which gives him a broad interdisciplinary vision of the integral cycle of civil and port works and in Project Management.

He has also been University Professor in the subjects of Geotechnics, Hydraulics, Sanitary, Bridges and Ports, as well as teacher in postgraduate studies, thanks to his extensive experience in the supervision and design of vertical and slope dikes, caisson piers, blocks and piles, pavements and port equipment, landfills and land improvement in container terminals, access and navigation channels, dredging, coastal defenses, Oil & Gas terminals; also in port planning and management, Design Management for large international port projects, as well as foundations for offshore wind turbines, floating photovoltaic installations, etc.
