Throughout his professional career, Dr. Javier Martínez Trufero has focused his research on the study of Sarcomas and Head and Neck tumors, designing and directing several clinical trials in search of treatments against these conditions. In this regard, he has published more than 50 manuscripts in prestigious scientific journals such as Journal Clinical Oncology, Lancet Oncology, Annals of Oncology, Molecular Cancer Therapeutics, among others. 

For more than three decades, he has held a specialist position in the Medical Oncology Service at the Miguel Servet University Hospital. From that position, he coordinates a multidisciplinary team of experts for the analysis and intervention of rare tumors and different types of cancer located in Thyroid and Digestive System.
