Dr. Ana Fernández Cruz is a specialist in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases, working in the Infectious Diseases Section of the Internal Medicine Service of the Puerta de Hierro Majadahonda University Hospital. She has also worked in this area at the Gregorio Marañón University General Hospital in Madrid.

She has also worked as Internal Medicine Physician in health centers such as the CEMTRO Clinic, the Ruber Internacional Hospital, the Fundación Alcorcón University Hospital, the Arquitecto Marcide Hospital and the 12 de Octubre University Hospital. 

PhD in Medicine and Surgery from the Autonomous University of Madrid, she has developed an extensive research career, in addition to holding a Professional Master's Degree in Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology from the Complutense University of Madrid.
