Internship Program in Social Work, Autonomy, and Social Inclusion

The progressive development of communities has been made possible thanks to social work and its different areas. However, activities related to the Third Sector (nonprofit activities) are increasingly exposed to individual or collective conflicts that affect their processes. These issues can only be resolved by qualified and experienced professionals. For this reason, in response to this need, at TECH Global University we have developed an Internship Program in Social Work, Autonomy, and Social Inclusion. A 100% practical program focused on addressing activities, actions, and projects that provide in-depth knowledge in this field. Over the course of three weeks of training, distributed in eight-hour days from Monday to Friday, you will study everything from the main protocols for interacting with people in vulnerable situations, and the planning, development, review, and evaluation of social work with individuals, families, groups, organizations, or communities, to general sociology, socio-cultural anthropology, and research methods and techniques in collective work. As a result, you will acquire the necessary skills to resolve crisis situations and manage conflicts related to ethical issues through an innovative vision and a global approach.

Specialize in social work, autonomy, and social inclusion

At TECH, in addition to offering a fully practical modality, we provide guidance from highly qualified experts in the field, who will support you in areas such as health, dependency, and social vulnerability, as well as in the structure of inequality and ethics in professional practice. Subsequently, you will address the analysis and diagnosis of needs in social work related to equal opportunities, autonomy, and inclusion. Finally, you will explore in depth the causes that are linked to and give rise to inequalities based on gender or complex ethical conflicts. In this way, you will be able to analyze different individual and collective situations in order to carry out intervention strategies that promote the inclusion and autonomy of the people involved. In addition, you will develop actions or programs aimed at social well-being and gain awareness of the reality of the environment (addressing conflicts and implementing intervention strategies). Through this, you will be able to transform people’s lives and promote social inclusion across different groups.
