During pregnancy, women may present pathologies that generate stress and worry. For this reason, their care requires the best practical skills to detect and manage conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and gestational visual problems. At the same time, cutting-edge knowledge is also required to implement monitoring protocols for other variables such as infectious pathologies that may cause discomfort to the mother and her baby. Achieving all these skills is often cumbersome for professionals, since many demand an update with less theoretical load than most of the programs in the educational market.

TECH is committed to overcoming this context and has designed an innovative learning modality. Its Internship program in Pregnancy Pathologies for Midwives consists of 3 weeks of intensive face-to-face training in a top level health institution. In these centers, the student will be able to acquire holistic skills for the management of real patients with chronic conditions and ocular emergencies. They will also acquire skills in the use of new technologies for the management and planning of work in this area.

On the other hand, the program will be carried out from Monday to Friday, in 8-hour consecutive days in ophthalmological services of international prestige. Therefore, the work will be organized in a direct way, with different innovative protocols, under the guidance of great experts. You will be assisted by an assistant tutor, who will integrate the most complex work dynamics into the educational process. Thanks to all these facilities, the graduates of this program will develop their maximum potential from day one and will update their knowledge through active learning and the use of the most sophisticated and effective tools in the health care field.

Internship Program in Pregnancy Pathologies for Midwives

.

Pregnancy care is a fundamental task in the work of midwives, who require specialized preparation in the pathologies that may occur during the gestation process. That is why at TECH Global University we have developed our Internship Program in Pregnancy Pathologies for Midwives, which seeks to provide practical and specialized tools to midwives, so that they can efficiently face the challenges presented by pregnancy care.

This program will address the different pathologies that may occur during pregnancy, from prevention and diagnosis to management and treatment. It will also deepen in the care and attention of the pregnant woman and her child in emergency situations, which will allow midwives to provide quality care and updated knowledge. In addition, current and relevant topics such as prenatal control, detection of alterations in fetal anatomy, high-risk pregnancy pathologies, among other fundamental topics for the professional practice of midwives in pregnancy care will be addressed.
