The career of Dr. Clotilde Vázquez Martínez is a true reflection of her professional quality. In addition to having been recognized by the prestigious Forbes magazine as one of the best physicians in Spain, she has received countless awards for her career, such as the very important Abraham García Almansa award for her experience in Clinical Nutrition. On the other hand, her inescapable research work on Diabetes made her worthy of the award given by FUCAMNDI every year to the best and most distinguished professionals.  

All this backed by a clinical practice of the highest level, occupying the head of various clinical and hospital centers in the areas of Endocrinology and Nutrition of the Ramón y Cajal, Severo Ochoa or the Fundación Jiménez Díaz. However, his vocation and his interest in the progress of medicine go even further. For this reason, every year she carries out dozens of seminars and courses to inform interested physicians of the latest developments in her field, both individually and through the Therapeutic Education Group (GEET) of the Spanish Diabetes Society, of which she is the coordinator.
