María José Alonso Osorio is a founding member of the Spanish Society of Phytotherapy and has been named Honorary Member for her outstanding work and meritorious practice. She is a corresponding Academician of the Royal Academy of Pharmacy of Catalonia and her achievements include the organization of continuing education programs that allow the pharmacist a scientific and always up-to-date training in the management of Phytotherapy, from the College of Pharmacists of Barcelona.  

She has participated as a lecturer in numerous national and international congresses and conferences. She is also a collaborator and member of the scientific committee of several journals in the sector.
