Experience

Dr. Llamas Sillero is Vice-President of SETH (Spanish Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis). She is responsible for the Quality Control of the Hemostasis and Thrombosis Section and the Molecular Biology Section of the Hematology Service and Vice-President of the Transfusion Commission. In addition, she is a member of the Interhospital Pharmacy Commission, the Spanish Society of Hematology and Hemotherapy, the Spanish Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis, and the Thrombosis Subcommittee at the Fundación Jiménez Díaz University Hospital. 

He has dedicated his career to the study of Venous Thrombosis, a little known disease in the population. She has supervised 7 doctoral theses and 8 DEA projects and participated in 20 research projects. She is the author of 4 books, 22 book chapters and 70 journal publications. She has presented more than 250 papers at national and international conferences, programs and symposia. In addition, she has been a member of the organizing committees of numerous congresses, symposia and conferences on topics related mainly to Hematology and Hemotherapy.

  • Honorary Professor of the Department of Medicine in Hematology at the Faculty of Medicine and honorary tutor at the Rey Juan Carlos Univeristy.
  • Doctor Cum Laude in Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad Autonoma of Madrid.
  • Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Cordoba.
