Dr. Alejandra Carbonell San Roman maintains a high interest in technical advances in the diagnosis of cardiac problems. For this reason, she has European Accreditation in Transesophageal Echocardiography and has focused her professional and research career in the field of Cardiology.

After working in several national and international hospitals, Carbonell San Román joined a first class health care center in Spain. In an environment of maximum professionalism, Carbonell San Roman develops her scientific studies, being part of projects focused on the identification of circulating microRNAs as prognostic markers in acute myocardial infarction - validation study for its use in clinical practice and cardiovascular risk stratification in early coronary artery disease.

The continuous updating of her knowledge in this field has led her to be an assiduous specialist at national and international congresses, where she participates as a speaker and with communications. She has also published a dozen articles in indexed journals in the Medical Area.
