Experience

Dr. Pedro Gonzalez Herranz has been studying for several years a wide spectrum of infantile neuromuscular diseases. Among them, he has treated patients with deformities secondary to cerebral palsy and spina bifida. In addition, he analyzes various congenital conditions that cause great discrepancy in limbs, bone dysplasias, dwarfism or short stature.  

His intense research and care work as Head of the Children's Traumatology and Orthopedic Surgery Unit of the University Hospital Complex of La Coruña, has obtained satisfactory results. Thanks to the variety of surgical procedures and treatments implemented, the service now has a reference accreditation in Children's Orthopedics by the Interterritorial Health Council.

  • Consultant of the Children's Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology Service of the Ramón y Cajal University Hospital. 
  • Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Navarra. 
  • Former President and member of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Orthopedics.
