Equines are the great specialty of Dr. Judit Viu Mella, who has practiced as a veterinarian in various clinical centers until carrying out her work independently. Equine Internal Medicine has marked Viu Mella's extensive professional and research career.  

The excellent clinical work is equally brilliant in the scientific field, where she obtained her Doctorate Cum Laude in Animal Medicine and Health, also obtaining the Extraordinary Prize for the Thesis Acid-base imbalances in newborn foals and adult horses evaluated by the quantitative approach. A beginning of a scientific career that has resulted in about fifty publications in journals of impact and participation in national and international congresses on the study of Equidae.
