Fernando Mata, PhD in Biomedicine, is an outstanding Sports Nutritionist who has served as Scientific Advisor to major teams. In this sense, he has held this position in the Cadiz Football Club, the Spanish Boxing Team and the Uruguayan Weightlifting Federation, helping their athletes to improve their physical performance through the preparation of diets, supplementation protocols and other functions. 

In addition, it is also remarkable his work as General Director of NutriScience Spain, Leader in Advanced Training in Clinical and Sports Nutrition in the Iberian Peninsula, being also known for his work as Coordinator of the Nutrition Area of Beiman Clinics and the group in this same area of the Andalusian Society of Sports Medicine. 

This extensive professional career has been combined with a meritorious research career in which he has published more than 10 articles in high impact journals and written two books on Nutrition, excelling in this field.
