Uveitis and diabetic retinopathy have marked the lines of research and the professional career of ophthalmologist Alex Fonollosa Calduch. With more than 60 scientific publications, international and national clinical trials in this field, Fonollosa Calduch is an outstanding specialist in this field.  

An expert who has been able to perfectly combine scientific study with practical practice, being one of the most relevant physicians in this area and being part of specialized units of leading clinical centers. With the aim of disseminating and analyzing Ocular Inflammatory Diseases, this Ophthalmologist promoted the creation of the Spanish Society of Ocular Inflammation of which he is President.
