Dr. Isai Barreda Ramos is a leading figure in the field of dentistry, especially in relation to children and adolescents. He has participated in numerous lectures and congresses divulging different approaches related to maxillary expansion through the BOKA system and panoramic radiographs. He is also a staunch advocate of bracket-free orthodontics, for whose excellent practice he has received numerous accolades from the international clinical community.  

In addition, in 2003 he was awarded by the Mexican Association of Orthodontics with the Research Award for the results of his study related to the treatment of early age patients with malocclusions through rapid maxillary expansion.
