Dr. Carlos Ouro Núñez is a specialist in exotic animals and has been working for more than 10 years as an independent veterinarian in different clinics throughout the community of Madrid. 

He is a member of different exotic animal associations such as AVEPA, AAV, AEMV, FECAVA and member of the international ornithological association Aviornis. As for his professional experience, he was a volunteer at the Rof Codina Veterinary Hospital during the Prestige catastrophe, cleaning, detoxifying and stabilizing the oiled birds.  

He made clinical stays for a month at the Group for the Rehabilitation of Native Fauna and its Habitat and at the Centre de Recuperaciò de Fauna de Torreferrussa in Barcelona, attending mainly raptor cases.  

He has also been a Clinical Researcher in the Exotic Animals Area, standing out for his article for the journal of the Association of Veterinarians for the Care of Exotic and Wild Fauna on Odontology in Small Mammals and Lagomorphs.
