Experience

Dr. Sara Llamas Velasco is a neurologist who is dedicated to both clinical practice and research, combining both activities for the promotion of health and the advancement of science. She has been FEA of the Neurology Service of the 12 de Octubre University Hospital, at the same time she is part of the Study Committee of the Center for Biomedical Research in Neurodegenerative Diseases Network. In the latter he has participated in several clinical projects, focused on the exhaustive knowledge of the different neurological disorders that are known.  

He has a PhD in Biomedical Sciences, backed by thousands of hours devoted to the analysis of physical activity and its relationship with the incidence of dementia and mortality in the NEDICES cohort. In addition, he has collaborated in the creation of several panels for international events such as the Alzheimer's Association International Conference, as well as in the co-editing of more than a dozen articles.
