- Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Zaragoza in 1997.
- After obtaining the Diploma of Bachelor of Degree (1999) and the Diploma of Advanced Studies (1999), he completed his Doctorate at the same university in 2003.

- His professional career is focused on improving the preservation methods of both gametes and embryos in different animal species.
