Dr. Lydia Gil Huerta is an eminence in the field of study of Animal Pathology and Assisted Animal Reproduction; areas to which she has dedicated a large part of her professional life, combining it masterfully with teaching at the highest level.

Principal investigator of 38 Transfer and Research projects and 5 Infrastructure projects, Gil Huerta has carried out an intense scientific activity, being a regular presence in national and international congresses. The support of this veterinarian to the field of study has led her, in turn, to direct up to 16 doctoral theses and transmit from the classroom her deep knowledge in the field of Animal Pathology.
