Alicia Álvarez Calvo has a diploma in Nursing and Public Health, a Master's Degree in Clinical Processes Resolution and is a University Expert in Emergencies. Her solid academic background has made her a candidate for nursing positions in renowned hospitals in Spain, such as Valladolid Clinical Hospital and the Sacred Heart Cardiology Institute where she has excelled as an Nurse Practitioner in Trauma and Spine Operating Rooms.

In addition to her intense work in health care, she is also interested in research and teaching. This has led her to be an associate professor of surgical conditions in Traumatology, her particular field of expertise, as well as other postgraduate programs in the area of specialization. She is a member of important organizations of her guild such as the Spanish Association of Traumatology Nursing and the Spanish Association of Vascular and Wound Nursing.
