With more than 30 years of experience and an award-winning career, Dr. José Ignacio Maruenda Paulino is a specialist in Traumatology and Orthopedic Surgery. In fact, his extensive professional career and the level of his interventions have positioned him as Head of the Spine Unit at the Hospital Clínico Universitario de Valencia.

In addition to his work in health care, this famous Doctor has been involved in research and teaching in the medical and physiotherapeutic fields. Among his lines of study include orthopedic surgery in children, adolescents and adults.

All this has led him to be awarded the Russell S. Hibbs Clinical Award in Washington and the Prize for the best clinical work by the Mapfre Foundation.
