Description

A unique quality training that will take you to the highest level of specialization by studying from your own home”

We begin with the study of the most relevant anatomy and physiology aspects of these regions, as well as their physiological characteristics applied to the swallowing. Aspects related to the pathophysiology of swallowing disorders will be evaluated. The etiological and epidemiological concepts of dysphagia will be discussed. We will cover clinical aspects and complications in swallowing disorders, their clinical and instrumental evaluation, and the most accurate knowledge on therapeutic aspects, all applied to the general ORL in daily practice.

To study the larynx we must know the applied anatomy of the pharynx and larynx, as well as its physiology. The clinical exploration of the larynx includes aspects related to the presence of structural and/or functional alterations, as referred to the three functions of the larynx, by means of techniques that have improved in recent times with endoscopic and computerized imaging systems.
In the usual clinical practice of ORL specialists, they areconfronted with voice disorders that require an understanding and a method of evaluation whose knowledge and systematics will help us to advance in our diagnoses.

Nasal and nasosinusal pathology is a frequent reason for consultation, both at general medicine and ORL levels. The problems that may arisehave functional symptoms, and even aesthetic, or may manifest as a result of systemic diseases or inflammatory or infectious processes with the possibility of serious complications. It is also important not to forget the existence of a very specific tumor pathology, as well as its role as a gateway in anterior skull base surgery.

Adequate knowledge of nasosinus anatomy and physiology is essential for the anatomical and functional exploration of nasal structures, as well as for the acquisition of knowledge of nasosinus diseases and surgical procedures in this anatomical territory. This exploration begins with the various endoscopic procedures, which must be complemented with functional explorations, as well as radiological studies when indicated.

One of the most frequent issues in primary medicine, with all the updates and advances at your fingertips and all in one place”
